I like growing my own food. Gardening is one of my favorite things! We decided to grow our own eggs. We got 5 Plymouth Rock, 8 Boven brown and 5 Easter Eggers. We use all natural soy free food. The chickens have a small pasture about 1000 square feet and a chicken yard by their house that includes a compost pile. Mostly young chickens but they have started to lay around a dozen eggs a day. This is more than we can use.
